You can never go wrong with Soap & Glory. I really think it will be a great alternative to Benefit's highlighters (especially if you find them to be too shimmery) and for a half the price. Soap&Glory Hocus Focus retails for £ 12 and comes in a 30 ml-sturdy-glass-bottle. The consistency is rather liquid and runny, and it appears as a dense white rose lotion with a pretty iridescence to it. What it does is reflecting the light due to its perlescent particles, diffusing a lovely iridescence on your face, and destracting the eye from imperfections.Īlso this is an extremely good highlighter! That's my favorite way of using it: as a highlighter on my cheekbones, browbone, cupid's bow. You can put it straight on your face, after you have moisturized your skin, or you can also mix it with your foundation for a candle-lit, glowing effect. It softens, smoothes and illuminates the skin, just where you need a little soft focus. You can really use this product to reduce the appearence of large pores and uneven pigmentation (says on the package, wrinkles as well, but I don't have any wrinkle, so I can't comment on that), and it will work very well.
